Set in an alternate history 1960, BioShock places the player in the role of a plane crash survivor named Jack, who must explore the underwater city of Rapture, and survive attacks by the mutated beings and mechanical drones that populate it. The game incorporates elements found in role-playing and survival games, and is described by the developers as a "spiritual successor" to their previous titles in the System Shock series.

Slated for release in February 2010 to coincide with the new game's release, the first full assortment of BioShock action figures will kick off with a Subject Delta and the Big Sister new to the video game sequel. These cool characters will be followed by another assortment in Spring 2010 to include a Big Daddy (Rosie) and Ladysmith Splicer.
